Solar fountains are the best option for almost anyone who wants to add a water feature to his or her home or garden. Many people who never installed fountains in their yards for various reasons – difficult to install, no outside power source, too expensive, etc. – can appreciate the ease of solar fountains. • No outside power source needed – these fountains can be placed just about anywhere in the yard. It does not matter whether or not there is an outlet nearby. • Battery – keep in mind that not all solar fountains come with a battery back-up. Without a battery, the fountain will only run during the day, when the sun is out.
