Solar home kits
Solar
home kits make it easy to install solar
power at home. These kits tend to come with everything needed to
set up a solar
power system; and they are often modular, meaning that they are
easy to add onto, should you decide that you need more power.
Many
solar home kits are simple enough to install on your own, but if
you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact a licensed contractor.
A licensed contractor will not only help you install the kit, but will
also ensure that it is placed in the best place and in the best way
to make sure that it is as efficient as possible.
Before deciding which solar
home kit to install, you must assess your power needs. Find out
your daily consumption of power. Add up the watts of your appliances.
For instance, a 12
volt TV uses 50
watts. The appliance should have a label. It is OK to stay grid-tied
and start out with a small solar
power system, one that will only run some of your appliances
for part of the day. You can always add to the system, later.

appliances use, check out this chart:
